  • chevron_rightHow do I report an HOA Violation?
    Suspected HOA violations can be reported through the "HOA Violation Reporting System" in the Residents section.  Be sure to include as much detail as possible, including a photos, dates/times etc. 
     
    Please understand:
    • Suspected violation reports will be reviewed by the management company to determine validity.
    • You may be contacted by management for further clarification and/or additional information.
    • Reporting a suspected violation does not automatically become a instance of a violation.  
    • You won't receive updates on the status of a reported violation.  You will only be notified that the report has been received and that it will be reviewed. 
     
    *Your reporting information will only be known by the management company and shared (only if necessary) with the Board of Directors.  All reporting information, as well as violation resolution details are kept strictly confidential.  Your name will never be shared with the suspected violator.

    Dorchester Neighborhood Association cannot provide enforcement in regards to animal control issues. 
     
    To report animal concerns or violations, reach out to Charles County Animal Control at (301)609-3425 or the Sheriff's Office at (301)743-2222.
     
    To find out more information, file a complaint form, or report a lost pet; visit www.charlescountymd.gov, then select "Animal Control & Care" under "Services."

    Dorchester Neighborhood Associations is not directly involved with crime prevention.
     
    To report any Suspicious Activity, please call the Charles County Sheriff's Office non-emergency line at (301)932-2222. 
     
    In case of Emergency, please call 911.
  • chevron_rightWhat is the Speed Limit on Dorchester Circle?
    The speed limit on Dorchester Circle is 25MPH. Charles County Sheriff's Office frequently monitors traffic and issues citations.
  • chevron_rightWho is responsible for Snow Removal on my street?
    Charles County is responsible for all snow removal on county streets per their schedule.
     
    Townhome community streets are owned and maintained by the residents. This includes Dorchester Townhomes, Dorchester Landings and Chestnut Woods. Each sub-association contracts a private company for snow removal in parking lots and streets.
     
    Residents are responsible for shoveling sidewalks adjacent to their property as well as individual parking spaces.  
  • chevron_rightCan I park on Dorchester Circle by Wade Elementary?
    Parking is PROHIBITED in all areas marked with "NO PARKING" signs, including the section of Dorchester Circle adjacent to Wade Elementary. Violators will be subject to a fine.
     
  • chevron_rightHow is my HOA Assessment calculated?
    Dorchester Neighborhood Association assessments are based on a common multiplier set by the Board of Directors to collect enough money to effectively run the association. Each year the Board reviews the operating expenses and forecasts the budget amounts for the upcoming year. The multiplier is adjusted to ensure enough funds are collected to meet the set operating budget and reserve contribution target of 10%.
